Quality tuition from professional teachers
We offer tuition to small groups of children, offering a very generous tutor to pupil ratio. We only use qualified teachers who have relevant teaching experience of the new curriculum at the suitable level. Additionally, all of our tutors are hand picked through personal experience and undergo an Enhanced DBS check for your peace of mind.
11+ TUTORING
We offer weekly, hour-long classes in term time with reasonable home study. We keep our teacher to pupil ratios small, to promote the best learning possible (classes often run at 1:4 ratios).
The course runs from September to July and there is an optional summer school.
Students are required to purchase course books (a book list is be provided).

11+ SUMMER SCHOOL
Total Tutoring’s Summer School is an exam readiness course and focuses on the skills that help the children to pass examinations.
The course has been designed to build your child’s confidence, the course includes two days of “mock exams” with practice and tutoring in between.
Techniques which are taught include: analysing and understanding the question, strategies for difficult questions, improving question outcomes and techniques for managing stress and nerves. One key component to the week is the focus on managing children's mindset using mindfulness techniques. This ethos helps the children to approach the exam with positive attitude, seeing it as an opportunity to show what they can do.
Our staff are all experienced 11+ tutors and the course has been designed to boost your child through practice papers, revision, tuition and exam technique.
