Have you heard everyone talking about the 11+ in hushed and slightly panicked tones? Do you feel out unsure and just don’t know where to look for information? At Total Tutoring we want to empower parents to make confident decisions. We are offering a free workshop to help you demystify and navigate the 11+. Vicky, our head tutor, professional teacher and mum who has guided her children through the 11+ will walk you through exactly what’s what. • What is the 11+ and how does it affect your child • Key moments in your child’s education • Tips for supporting key stage 2 learning • Choosing whether to engage a tutor or home school • Total Tutoring’s approach and the benefits of professional teachers We will have plenty of time for discussion in this informal session. We hope to address some of the uncertainty around the 11+ and if you like Total Tutoring as a result, that is a bonus! The session is free and open to all parents; it is primarily aimed at parents of year 2, 3 and 4 children as you think about the next steps for your child. The event will be in our class room and online. Please register below. Vicky Collins is the founder and head tutor at Total Tutoring. She has a passion for teaching and experience in maintained (KS2) and independent schools (Thinking Skills). Her own children undertook the 11+ and, as a mum, she has experienced the challenge as to whether to home school or find a great tutor.
